Vision and Methodology

Vision:

To achieve justice and raise awareness of rights and insurance through the publication of the decisions issued by the Committees and the Appeal Committee in accordance with Article (One) of the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. (215) dated 29/06/1430H and Paragraph (4) of Article (13) of the Rules and Procedures of the Committees for Resolution of Insurance Disputes and Violations issued by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No. (190) dated 09/05/1435H.

Methodology:

Decisions are published by the type of the insurance policy and the date of issuance without referring to any natural or legal person. They are published with a table of six main elements as follows: (Case reference No., decision No., day and date of issuance, type of insurance policy, type of decision, finality of judgment). "Finality of judgment" means that the decision has acquired finality by the endorsement of the published preliminary decision by the Appeal Committee (with the appellate decision no.) or by the lapse of the period of appeal. The General Secretariat has been keen on determining the type of each decision by considering the type of the insurance policy, the facts of the case, requests and defenses of parties, and the decision text.
